Kèr Fy̼ùgshe (Fy̼ /ˈʊgʃe/ [crab] [letter (of an alphabet)]) is a subtropical Small Town located in the Bombuqíh Region of the Tetbur Commune.

The name Kèr Fy̼ùgshe is derived from the Tauric language, as Kèr Fy̼ùgshe was founded by Giant Hissing Cockroachs Gwilym, who was culturaly Tauric.

Climate

Kèr Fy̼ùgshe has a yearly average temperature of 30°C (86°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a blistering 34°C (93°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 27°C (80°F). Kèr Fy̼ùgshe receives an average of 128 cm/y (50 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Kèr Fy̼ùgshe covers an area of nearly 4 km2 (1 mi2), and an average elevation of 3594 m (11791 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Kèr Fy̼ùgshe was founded durring the late 13th century in summer of the year 1188, by Giant Hissing Cockroachs Gwilym. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Giant Hissing Cockroachs Gwilym.

Kèr Fy̼ùgshe was built using the conventions of Tauric durring the late 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kèr Fy̼ùgshe is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.

Kèr Fy̼ùgshe is is constructed arround a series of premissive cobblestone mainstreets which form overlapping circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The town rests behind the absurdity that is a thick, timber braced, wall made of clay bricks. While visualy impressive and certainly an astetic, Kèr Fy̼ùgshe's wall provides no actual defence against siege equipment due to the choice of its cosntruction materials. Even nonexperts can tell the town is trying to impress rather than defend with its walls, towers, and gatehouses. Though admittedly, they do look nice... To primitive tribals who have never seen fortifications before. The political statment focused walls has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

Before you’ve even set foot into the heart of Kèr Fy̼ùgshe, you can smell it. The incense. It hangs about the town like a cloud. Monks, priests, and clerics are everywhere, all dedicated to the same god, all performing the same rituals to bless and anoint buildings, streets, people, animals, you name it they are or have blessed it. The same holy symbol is everywhere too. Its on buildings, on people, and even branded into livestock. This certainly loves its god. More than it loves wealth. The town is very clearly poor. Buildings are run down in ways that are not imeadiatly obvious. The people are a bit too thin. The market is very eager to sell to newcomers, but not so eager to buy from them. There’s also a general lack of the hum and buzz of healthy industry in Kèr Fy̼ùgshe.

Civic Infrastructure

Kèr Fy̼ùgshe has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Kèr Fy̼ùgshe.

Kèr Fy̼ùgshe has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.

Kèr Fy̼ùgshe has a Hall of Slayers, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.

Kèr Fy̼ùgshe has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Kèr Fy̼ùgshe's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Kèr Fy̼ùgshe possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Small Town. Kèr Fy̼ùgshe's grid is powered by hydrogalvanic generators.

Kèr Fy̼ùgshe possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. In spite of the Galvanic Grid, these lights continue to use their old fule sources to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.

Kèr Fy̼ùgshe has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Kèr Fy̼ùgshe has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes

Kèr Fy̼ùgshe's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is inspired by the natural world, characterized by sinuous, sculptural, organic shapes, arches, curving lines, and sensual ornamentation. Common motifs included stylized versions of leaves, flowers, vines, insects, animals, and other natural elements. Decorative elements found on the inside and outside of buildings include intricate mosaic work, curved windows, and decorative trim work. .

The Snake, Venomous near Kèr Fy̼ùgshe are known to be more aggressive than normal.

Kèr Fy̼ùgshe's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves creating small tokens to channel Mysticism energies of tier 2 via throat chanting.
